STUDIOS & MULTI-ARTS COMPLEX

Established in 2017 Antepavilion is an Arts and Architecture Charity that aims to promote independent thought and symbiosis in the fields of art, craft and architecture.

Through examination and discussion of the art-craft-architecture relationship we aim to demonstrate the importance of upholding a balance between them, particularly in this ever-commercialising urban realm.

The provision of affordable studio spaces, as well as exhibition, event and performance space serves to reinforce this by maintaining a creative presence in a city where rising rents threaten London's status as a world-class creative hub.

EVENTS
We also host a diverse range of events, some of which include: political talks and rallies, brand/ product launches, gigs and festivals.

RESEARCH
Antepavilion offers funding for research in the field of small-scale independent movements in art-craft-architecture that do not have the support (or even sympathy) of mainstream cultural establishments.

OUR ANNUAL COMPETITION
The Antepavilion Commission offers emerging architects, artists, designers, craftsmen, and anyone else, an opportunity to create new work through direct hands-on construction. Works are put on temporary display within the Columbia and Brunswick Wharf complex, a unique urban environment, situated on the Regents Canal in Haggerston, East London.
